ADVENT TIME PREMIERES

State Choir LATVIJA and conductor Māris Sirmais have prepared a concert program for the very special time of the year – Advent and Christmas. New pieces by the Latvian composers Rihards Zaļupe, Renāte Stivriņa and Andris Kontauts have been commissioned and will be premiered on December 7, 2022 at the culture center Ulbrokas Pērle.

The concert program also includes pieces by the beloved Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds as well as compositions by Christmas-time melodies in new arrangements by Zuzanna Koziej (Poland), Morten Poulsen (Denmark), Eduards Fiskovičs and Ivars Rebhūns.
