Laureats of “Great Music Award 2025”

On Friday, March 6, the laureats of the “Great Music Award 2025” were just announced at the Vidzeme Concert Hall “Cēsis”.
We are truly honored to have won the award in the “Concert of the Year” category for the closing concert of the 28th International Sacred Music Festival “Buddha’s Passion” by Tan Dun, which was performed on September 5, 2025 at the Riga Congress Hall. We would like to thank all the musicians – the singers of the State Academic Choir “Latvija”, the group of Riga Dome Boys’ Choir and teacher Ance Ķirse, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the outstanding soloists Viktorija Majore, Ieva Parša, Jolanta Strikaite, Mārtiņš Zvīgulis, Yiran Jia and Hasibagen, as well as the festival artistic director and conductor Māris Sirmajas.
Thanks also to all colleagues and partners for their significant support in the creation of the concert, especially to Maija Veide for her Chinese language consultations. Congratulations to all the nominees and laureates of the “Great Music Award 2025”!
