SAPŅU TĀLUMĀ. Aspazija 160

The State Choir “Latvija”, conductor Māris Sirmais, and actress Vita Vārpiņa invite you to the concert “Sapņu tālumā”, celebrating the 160th anniversary of the remarkable Latvian poet Aspazija. The event will take place on the eve of her birthday, March 15, at the Ziedonis Hall of the National Library of Latvia.

The program will feature choral works by Latvian composers, all set to Aspazija’s poetry, performed by the State Choir “Latvija”. The evening will be interwoven with readings by Vita Vārpiņa.
