At the concert, the choir will perform a cappella works by Latvian composers set to the poetry of Rainis and Inese Zandere. As the creators of the program reveal:
“The poet’s narration, interwoven with the choir’s rich harmonies, will lead listeners into the courtyard of Rainis’s childhood home, let them glimpse sunlit rooms, and cast bridges of reflection—towards both the vast legacy of his work and the poet’s enduring love for Tadenava.”
