State Choir LATVIJA and Maris Sirmais performs various choral songs by Latvian composers Imants Kalniņš, Marģeris Zariņš, Romualds Kalsons, based on poems by Imants Ziedonis. Main thema of these songs – a name of a woman.
Ensemble Breakfast for Four and singer Aija Vītoliņa will perform arrangements of works by G. F. Handel, A. Piazolla, G. Rossini, G. Bizet in the second part of the concert. Members of the ensemble Breakfast for Four are Mārtiņš Zilberts (piano), Andis Klučnieks (flute), Jānis Stafeckis (double bass), Aivars Krastiņš (drums and percussion)
