Born in Riga

The idea of this event is to unite a great constellation of the stars of world music, born in Riga, to perform on the natural stage presented by the square of the National Opera. The following artists have confirmed their participation in the concert: Mischa Maisky, Gidon Kremer, Maija Kovaļevska, Aleksandrs Antoņenko, Egīls Siliņš, Inese Galante, Baiba Skride, Vestards Šimkus, Iveta Apkalna, Ksenija Sidorova, chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica, Latvian Radio Choir, State Choir Latvija, the festival’s orchestra and conductors Māris Sirmais and Andris Poga.
