Concert “World Premiers” is now available in video format

We are pleased to announce that in cooperation with the Center for Cultural Information Systems, the concert of the 23rd International Sacred Music Festival “World Premieres” can now be watched in video format: http://www.diva.lv/Contents/Item/Display/38633 

In the concert, which took place on September 2, 2020, in Riga St. Peter’s Church, the world premieres of four composers were performed: Renāte Stivriņa “Septiņi mirkļi pie krusta”, saxophonist Artis Gāga “Top Lūgts”, pianist Uldis Marhilevičs new works “Agios O Theos” and “Kyrie”, as well as Alvils Altmanis’ “Missa Brevis”.

Artis Gāga, Andis Klučnieks, Romāns Vendiņš, Kristens Kupčs, Jānis Stafeckis, Artis Orubs also took part in the concert together with the State Academic Choir “Latvija”.
The artistic director and conductor of the concert is Māris Sirmais.
